Rear Lamp Panel - Part 2 - an appeal!

Hi folks. Apologies for the fact that I have been hiding in the warm house during these last few weeks...the garage has just been too cold. However, I got in there again today and did some more fettling to the new rear lamp panel. Photos to follow soon.

I have an appeal! I wonder if any readers are able to send me photos of the area in the boot/trunk where the boot/trunk floor meets the rear lamp panel? Or, even  better, do any readers live in Northamptonshire and would they be willing to let me have a look at this area in your own TR7?

It is just that this area on my car is a mess and very irregular. The photos don't explain the problem very well, but basically in some areas the "dog leg" on the boot floor lip sits exactly over the same shape on the lower area of the rear lamp panel, whereas in other areas it edge of the dog leg kind just abouyt meet it.  I just can't fathom out what is supposed to go where, and what welds to what. It is this area giving me the problems:

As you can see from my photos, the boot floor lip on my car is a bit of everything:

I hope you can help! Even better, if anyone has a scrap car from which this entire section of boot floor can be cut, that would be great.

Email me if you can.
